It would be cool is Casio made one of these that was all black but wasn't millitary/super dark. <br /> <br />If you are looking for a quality digital watch I think this would be good for you. I work as a nurse so on night shifts and your trying to read heart rates for 30 seconds-1 min, you need the light to stay on a bit. So i end up being more ingenuitive with my light source. Back on topic the watch feels very comfortable around your wrist, do not be afraid by the two gray flaps around the back side of the watch, it actually makes it comfortable. And the look of this watch is actually very classy and also fun/manly something you can wear everyday without fail. As a night shift nurse the one thing that I do appreciate is the date showing up because you often forget what day it is sometimes working 3 in a row! I finally let my subscription run out. One reason was that getting the magazine itself was difficult. Issues were always coming up missing, and I almost never ended up with the Christmas issue, even though I had a subscription. They always sold out and never had a back issue to give me. As for the content, I loved it at the beginning. It had it's downside--the items they used were very expensive, but you could get ideas from it. But what made me love it at the beginning is the fact it used Traditional style. That is my style, not modern or contemporary. But in the past few years it has started to shift to contemporary styles. A more contemporary style seems to be what is "in" if you watch HGTV or watch Oprah's decorator, but if I wanted a magazine that covered modern decorating, I would buy a different magazine. When I saw the magazine doing an article on one of the New York Housewives apartments which the show showed in detail, I had a good laugh. The coffee tables spelled out a word, which is not my idea of traditional. How anyone could call that traditional was beyond me. They have floated off into the contemporary style bandwagon and left their dedicated traditionalist readers behind. Rating: 2 / 5 I have gotten this magazine for several years on and off. I recently saw a 10 page spread on a home recently completed by a couple I know who built a 3rd home on a Lake in Indiana. It was well done and gave the 'flavor' of the house. This Casio band is fitted with...well wings...that cradle the watch and center it on your wrist. This type of band seems new to Casio and I would encourage Casio to use this band on more G Shocks. For me the best feature of the "wings" is that they are removable. I have a small wrist and by removing them the articulated band fits perfectly. Another G Shock with a similar band is the Casio Men's DW9052-1V G-Shock Classic Digital Watch which again is large but fits very comfortably.
